The inner ear which is composed of two parts, the bony labyrinth and the membranous labyrinth. It is filled with fluid which changes pressure in response sound.

How close sound waves are to each other, which affects the pitch of the sound.

Hair Cells
The hearing receptors which respond to changes in endolymph pressure by opening ion channels and depolarising the vestibulocochlea nerve which takes this information to the brain.
